The skeptic and the believer and God

There was a storm, lightning and thunder were swaying over a village, merely threatening and spurred fear within the heart of every most courage men even.

A religious leader from religion A exclaimed, "God is angry. We must persuade Him, immolation of goat, that's written in our holly book!"

There came also a religious leader from religion B, "God is crying. Entertain Him with burnt lamb chop! It's in our holly book!"

And their both were arguing which holly book was righteous. They gathered their masses and ended up with battle of Gods. Many of them were killed and injured.

While the battle took place, some people only had less than 50% of God in their mind and refused to view things surround based on holly books and what were said to be words of God, they were the skeptic. They explored and kept asking what is truth and discovered electrons amongst the cloudy rain. They invented thunder neutralizer.

The religious people were dying killing each other, they suffered, they lost their loved ones and the battles almost never ended. They lived in misery of life.

The secular were safe within their houses with their thunder neutralizer.
They kept exploring, inventing and discovering and that made their life better. Yet... l there was something missing within their heart. Something they struggled to answer but the answer remains none. Something unknown. It made them feel empty. And scared. And lonely.

The both people died, the religious and the skeptic. They met God in heaven and asked God, "So God, what's it all about?"
And He answered, "Actually all I want is to be loved. It's lonely you know being the only thing in universe. It's just that... it turns out I realize I'm a complicated person. So... I don't know what it's all about either".

So no one or nothing lived happily ever after. Not the believer. Nor the skeptic. Not even God.
But wait... there was one being happy. Yes he was sooo happy, even he was being the happiest in universe. It's just that we can only guess who he was.

So Put your best shot.

The End.
